The Goldsmithing Merit Badge Event has started and runs through October 12. Complete all two weeks of challenges to earn a new animated badge.
To progress each week, you must complete either the three free challenges, or the optional premium challenge. If you complete the necessary challenges for the week, you will earn a Merit badge.
If you collect both Merit badges before the event is over, you will earn the animated Super Scout badge.

How Merit Badge Events Work
- Each week offers three free event challenges and one premium Mix‑n‑Match challenge.
- You can complete the three free challenges, the premium challenge, or both.
- Finishing the weekly requirement earns you that week’s Merit badge.
- Collect all three Merit badges to unlock the bonus Super Scout badge.
- All challenges must be completed before the event timer expires.
- Unfinished challenges and rewards become unavailable once the event ends.
Tips & Tricks
- You don’t need to complete all challenges at once. Spread them out through the week.
- Create a simple plan for which challenges you’ll finish first to avoid rushing at the end.
- Pair Merit challenges with weekly, personal, or Mix‑n‑Match badges in the same game.
- Premium challenges can help you finish faster if you’re short on time.
- Remember that Pogo events are meant to be fun – complete them at your own pace.
