Pogo has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the website outage that occurred on May 4th, 2023.
There was many of us that were unable to access the games during this time, and they would like to make it up to us.
As a token of their appreciation for your patience and understanding, they have awarded 200 free Pogis to all players who were affected by the outage.

Good question! They probably store logs of the last time the users were online, and then match those up with the outage date.
