Rainy Day Spider Solitaire HD is an online solitaire game on Pogo, where the goal is to bring out the sun by clearing all the cards.
How to Play
In Rainy Day Spider Solitaire HD, you need to clear cards by sorting matching suits into sequential stacks, from King to Ace.
You can choose between easy, normal and hard difficulties to increase the challenge and number of card suits at play. The more difficult the game you win, the more Sunlight points you will earn.
(Easy = 1 Sunlight point, Normal = 2 Sunlight points and Hard = 8 Sunlight points).
Watch for special Scratcher Cards, giving you the chance to win a random reward. You can also find Free Cells, which let you set a card off to the side while you figure out your next move.
Clear them all to win the level and give Octavia a break from the rain.
Tips
When playing on medium or hard difficulty, you can place a 5 of one suit on top of a 6 of another suit, but you can only move the full stack if all cards are the same suit.
Club Pogo members can rank up quickly by scratching the top-row scratch cards, then clicking the card piles on the bottom right to scratch those as well before starting a new game.
Use Free Cells wisely to temporarily store cards while you reorganize the tableau – they’re especially helpful when trying to complete long suited runs.
Try to uncover face-down cards as early as possible, since revealing new cards increases your available moves and reduces the chance of getting stuck.
Focus on building full King-to-Ace runs in a single suit whenever possible, as these clear automatically and open up large sections of the board.
