Are you having freezing issues when playing games on Pogo? Look no further, as we have a couple solutions to fix it so it never happens again!
Before you try any of the solutions below, be sure to close any Pogo game windows you have loaded. Otherwise, there is a chance the fix does not get synchronized to the game correctly.
The first thing to do is to adjust your monitors refresh rate. If for some reason this does not work for you, then try disabling your GPU hardware acceleration.
Here is how you can do that :
Adjust Your Monitor Refresh Rate
What you want to do here is lower your monitors refresh rate to 60Hz.
Right-click the desktop screen, and go to : “Display Settings” > “Advanced Display” > “Refresh Rate” > 60 Hz.
Note that once you are finished playing your games on Pogo, you should revert the refresh rate back to its previous setting. Higher refresh rates produce less eye strain, allows for smoother scrolling on websites and reduces or even eliminates ghosting (blurring) while watching movies and videos.
Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration
The next solution to try is to disable GPU hardware acceleration.
Right-click the desktop screen, and go to : “Display Settings” > “Graphics” > “Change default settings”, and turn off “hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling”.
As above, you will want to re-enable this option when you are finished playing your games.
On a personal note, Trizzle has always given me issues and would freeze on my desktop computer only after a few moves. I resorted to using my smartphone or tablet to complete challenges for this game. Adjusting the refresh rate solved the issue for me, and it’s nice to be able to play this game on a large screen.
