Pogo has released the following statement regarding Garden Blast:
We wanted to inform you that Garden Blast will be undergoing maintenance starting from July 28th at 11:00 PM PT until July 29th at 9:00 AM PT. During this time, the game will not be accessible as we work on improving your gaming experience. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding
This downtime will be used to implement the new Garden Blast update.
What are they doing to Garden Blast?
They are adding a new Garden Pass, tournaments and daily tasks. You can read all about it here:

When are they going to fix Solitaire Home Story. I can’t finish the bingo jam because it won’t load
Are you trying to play on a mobile device? If so, there are known issues with that and Pogo is working on an update.
In the meantime, you will need to play on a desktop/laptop computer to get the challenge done.
