Saying Goodbye to More Pogo Games

  • Cookie Connect
  • Lumeno
  • StoryQuest
  • Winter Wonderland

Check out our Retired Pogo Games page for a complete list of all previously retired games.

The decision to remove these games enables them to focus their resources and efforts on creating new games and improving their platform. They are committed to bringing us fresh and exciting experiences and are excited about what lies ahead.

Here is the list of what Pogo is working on now:

It doesn’t make sense to me that they would remove Jewel Academy and Cookie Connect. The rest I can understand. I guess they are making room for more HOG’s in the future?

Joy657 says

Removing Jewel Academy makes me pretty sad. That was a game a legitimately enjoyed. I doubt the rest of the games will be missed as much, except for possibly Cookie Connect.
I’m interested in the new games they have planned so far though. I miss the old poker games we used to have, and city builders are a decent niche to play through.

SweetPea says

I have a feeling Pogo will receive some backlash for removing Jewel Academy and Cookie Connect. I enjoyed StoryQuest, so I’m not happy to see that game on the chopping block.

Victoria M. says

I’m not surprised that those HOG’s are getting removed, but I’m a little shocked that they’re getting rid of Bejeweled Stars and Cookie Connect.

Michelle says

We still have Bejeweled Stars, so I have no issues with them removing Jewel Academy. I’m disappointed to see Cookie Connect and StoryQuest leave though.

SeaBreeze29 says

I don’t mind them doing this as long as we get some quality games in return. Also, I’m interested to see what they are going to do with the Garden Blast event and I hope they add more badges to it while they are at it.

MomOfThree says

I don’t mind these removals as long as the replacement games are not gem suckers.

ReallyMe says

Yes, that would be nice!

Ruby July says

Kind of feel like they will be. All the other new games require gem purchase to advance beyond a few levels.

TokenTitan says

I don’t mind these changes. What I miss the most is the jackpot spinner. Why not bring that back and have Pogis and gems as rewards?

Ardeahem says

What can I say? I’m an old person who dislikes change. That is why I’ve been playing on the Pogo site for over 25 years. I have always hated the retirement of any game. I am still grieving for Buckaroo Blackjack, the first game they took away from. I would rather they didn’t add any new game that meant the retirement of an old one!

Denise47 says

I’m not really attached to those games, so I don’t mind them being removed. It does surprise me that Pogo would remove so many HOG’s though. Aren’t those supposed to be the money makers?

Lea says

I’m excited for the new match 3 game! This is something Pogo need for a while now.

LostSoul62 says

I don’t play hidden object games, but I do play the other two that are getting the axe. We can hope the replacement games will fill the empty void left by the others.

Crystal T. says

So after the latest removals, that only leaves the two Claire Hart games? I hope Pogo eventually brings back Clue.

LittleSabryna34 says

I understand progress for the site, however, if they are bringing in new games, why not put in any card games, besides poker? They took away several card games and never put any new ones back. I will miss some of the “finding object” games. I enjoyed them.
I agree that this site has become a “token” sucker. I don’t recommend this game site to my family just for that reason. I have been a member since 2005. I used to recommend it to anyone that wanted to play games, now I just tell people I don’t know. lol
